About BILT

BILT is a furniture design collaborative dedicated to uniting the clean, geometric style of the modern aesthetic with the warmth and tradition of things handmade. By questioning the rigidity of the woodworking tradition and softening the hard edges of modern design, we hope to strike a balance between the two: exciting design with inviting comfort.

Our designs reflect our diverse inspirations and backgrounds. While we love the austerity of Le Corbusier, we appreciate the warmth of Renee Mackintosh. We are equally moved by white cubes and farmhouses, and hope our furniture would be at home in either.
